What is EC04 Funding And Who Qualifies?

ECO4 stands for Energy Company Obligation. It is a government energy efficiency scheme aimed at helping reduce the carbon emissions of Great Britain and also tackle Fuel Poverty. Under this scheme there are various grants available to help people pay for some energy efficiency measures.

In order to qualify for ECO4 and LA Flex grants, there are certain benefit related criteria the customer must meet. If the customer receives one of the following benefits then they may be eligible for a grant to help fund an ECO4 measure.

3 Ways To Qualify For EC04 Funding

Receiving Benefits Listed

If you currently receive any of the benefits listed below, you automatically qualify.
If you don’t receive benefits, don’t worry—you may still qualify under Option 2 or 3.

Household Income Less than £31,000

Is your household income less than £31,000 per year? If so, you qualify. Even if you don’t receive any benefits, a lower income makes you eligible.

Health Condition

This option overrides the first two. If you have a cardiovascular condition, respiratory disease, limited mobility, weakened immune system or on long term medication such as high blood pressure tablets, you automatically qualify.
